Receiving Coordinator


The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely put away of materials. We are looking for the right person who shares our philosophy of Operational Excellence on a daily basis. AEL-SPAN’s primary objective is to deliver the right part, to the right place, at the right time


  • Enfield, NC


  • Ensure all orders are sequenced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Locate parts, including received parts, put-away parts, and parts that are not yet received, so as to support emergency situations and avoid interruptions and shutdown of production lines.
  • Coordinate team members and activities.
  • Be present on the floor to give guidance and feedback to the team.
  • Communicate closely with the administrative team regarding any operations concerns.
  • Proactively communicate and escalate any ‘defects’ and other situations in the warehouse that could potentially have minor or major impacts.
  • Prepare and send out daily/weekly/monthly KPI tracking.
  • Check customer portals and enter data as needed.
  • Manage inventory accuracy at the highest levels.


  • Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Ability to manage people across a large facility, ensuring team members are productive and safe, while promoting communication and teamwork.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience speaking professionally with customers and large groups.
  • Ability to deal with and communicate effectively with a diverse team of individuals from various backgrounds, at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means, to individuals and groups.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with enthusiasm within constantly changing priorities
