Walker SCM Names Maria Hill Director of Sales
Logistics industry veteran committed to executing company’s growth strategy, driving expansion.
NEW YORK – Walker SCM, LLC, a minority-certified global transportation and logistics firm based in Valley Stream, NY, is pleased to announce that industry veteran Maria Hill has joined the organization as Director of Sales. Ms. Hill brings over 20 years of diverse industry experience, including key roles in business development, trade lane management, operations, quality control, project management and customer service.

For the past 17 years, Ms. Hill has held positions of escalating responsibility with DHL Global Forwarding, including (most recently) Director BD & KAM, Consumer & Retail Sector; Director MNC, Consumer & Retail Sector – North America; Trade Lane Manager – Latin America, Spain & Portugal; and Operations Manager/U.S. Quality Auditor – Denver, CO. Prior to joining DHL, she served in operational and sales roles with Fritz Companies, Airborne Express and Space Cargo. Ms. Hill, who is based in the greater New York area, is fluent in English and Spanish.
