Walker SCM Launches Amsterdam Facility
Walker SCM, LLC, a minority-certified global transportation and logistics firm celebrating 25 years of service, proudly announces its expansion into the European market with the launch of Walker International (Transportation) Netherlands BV, based in Amsterdam. The addition of operations in Holland continues the company’s aggressive growth strategy for 2014. Walker’s Netherlands location offers a comprehensive package of air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, distribution and customs clearance services, all from a single location at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS).

The nation also plays a prominent role as a major European transportation hub. Walker’s facility in Amsterdam features 1800 square meters of office space, dedicated warehousing and logistics space (AEO licensed) with High Security (TAPA TSR) and Temperature Controlled capabilities, and nationwide distribution services for air and ocean freight. Customs activities include standard import/export clearances and in-bond transfers, as well as the handling of Fiscal Representation.
